Chuck grew up in Rocky River and graduated from RRHS in 1959. He went to Duke University and graduated with an electrical engineering degree in 1963. He worked in San Diego for one year on the guidance system of the Atlas missile and for General Dynamics. He then went to Harvard Business School and graduated in 1963. He worked for 40 years for a family safety clothing company now called National Safety Apparel. Since he retired in 2006 he has been doing angel investing, NCAF I & II and NCVF MCP I & II and MCPVF. In addition, he has invested in a number of sidecar investments.
